I was walking to hawker center and saw a property agent....this is what happened

Not that I am looking for a new place but was just curious if I upgrade how much it will cost.

This is what I saw. 4 room flats in almost all matured estates are asking $500+K.

If you get a housing loan 30yrs of $450K HDB jnterest rate of 2.6%. The repayment per month is $2.2K

Around 40-45% household income is below 5K ..at least 44% of their income  has to be use to service the loan for 30yrs.

Based on this I would think most people will go for resale 3 room flat so they don't overstretch

Will till one day Singapore may become like HK in the past when many become homeless and to live in a rental flat after landlord exploiting the people . If HDB becomes unreachable to many ,where can they live?Worst is job becoming so unstable and cost of living is so unbearable .

This kind of place and 4 room asking 500K?
Can sell or not? I thought was about 350K

This is my greatest fear too. We're becoming too much like the old HK, and that's because the govt is only interested in collecting money and not concerning themselves with the future. Now we're already seeing signs of it - smaller flats, high cost of living etc.

if you can sell yr 2 bedder for $250k, yr monthly repayment only a thousand plus

We have too many property agent in Singapore driving up the prices. My area has regular Agents on bicycle every month to get to know many old residents at the void deck and telling them to “Sell”

If WW3 breaks out via Russia, what will happen to realty prices when foreigners no work here and mortgagees struggle to pay off loans due to shortage of tenants. We are living in end times , nuclear war is looming.

our gov simply cannot made it. sub standard asking for high price we need to paid. foreigner coming over made things worse. future generation will suffered in silent if we keep going like that. job and food security is a concern, we need this priority as a  local true blue singaporean.

Willing buyer, willing seller..

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..

But u also sell expensive, so i wonder sometimes how people make money, U sell exp u also buy exp. unless u downgrade.
