Why does Singapore keep talking about TPP when everyone else has given up on it?
How can anybody believe in U.S. anymore, asks Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

"On his first day in office, President Trump signed an executive order removing the U.S. from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and declared an end to the era of multinational trade agreements."

Simply, on 1st day in office, Trump just threw months of PM Lee's hard work on TPP out the windows

Now we know why in January 2017, his first day in office, Trump threw the TPP proposals out the windows.

Revealing, TPP free trades initiatives was PM Lee's brain child that was unknowingly, contradicting to Trump's believes in world trade.

Sadly, PM Lee wasted so much of his time for nothing.
