“These results demonstrate that two doses of the whole virion inactivated adjuvanted Valneva vaccine, even at a low dose, prime for a large anamnestic (memory) antibody response when a full dose booster of the same vaccine is administered some months later.  

This is an expected finding and another important step forward in assembling the evidence to support the authorisation and use of this vaccine.  

We expect to receive related functional (virus neutralisation) assay results shortly as well as information about cross neutralisation of the Omicron variant.
