Ya, their accent is terrible. Very difficult to get what they trying to say. Last time I called singtel to clarify my bill and an Indian gal took my call. Talked to her and very hard to get what she said until I lost my patience and asked to change to speak to a local. Felt quite bad after that.      Big Grin

I can understand that Indian reporter. No problem. I have encounter Indians with worse accents but that is not often.

Me thinks Trump does understand the Indian reporter. How else he managed to communicate with Modi,  who has even heavier accented spoken england ?

Rather the POTUS seems to dismiss (or discriminates) the reporter simply because is a "foreigner".

In my first job, used to have a FT indian sitting beside me with strong perfume. I told him not to use perfume Laughing He stopped
