According to Luhut, President Jokowi will provide discounts on ticket prices for  the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train within a certain period so that they can be used by the wider public. 

"Just now we were discussing how long it would take to give discounts, then gradually. So basically , the President wants all of us to be able to enjoy it at a good price, but this is also the way to go," said Luhut. President Jokowi on September 13 2023 tested the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train. 

The President tested the fast train with the starting point of the journey from Halim Station, Jakarta, ending at Padalarang Station, West Java. It only takes 28 minutes to arrive at Padalarang Station from Halim.

Jokowi asks for integration for LRT to high-speed trains

Jokowi said that integration between transportation aims to make it easier and more comfortable for people to use public transportation.

Jokowi proposes to integrate new public transportation such as LRT, MRT, high-speed trains and airport trains with existing public transportation.
