WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's battle to avoid extradition to the United States received a major boost today (20/5) as a London High Court ruled that US assurances on his case are insufficient and how he will be allowed to appeal, which will receive full consideration.

In March, the said court had temporarily allowed the 52-year-old Assange to proceed with the appeal.
