Just repaced new ones and was told to replace the brackets. I told them to fly kite and use back the same ones which are ok

Do take note for any new aircon bracket installation, make sure to check yourself the wielding of the bracket is a full wielding. If no full wielding on the bracket, better reject it.

Sometimes, need to tekan them, then the aircon technician won’t dare to play punk at you.

AND WILL FIT JUST FINE

Everything dun last . If yr bracket is more than 20 years , best to replace with a better quality material if there is .Just to save yourself the trouble after you are changing the aircon. You will aged and item will be getting more expensive especially once you are not working anymore.
In the past the threaded rod holding the bracket is made of mild steel and only galvanized. Over time it will give way. Even if its hotdipped it's durable only for 10 years .
