Anwar paid down national debt
Brought in highest level of foreign investments.
He eliminated the diesel subsidy and increase the sales tax to improve govt revenues.
I think some of these decisions are correct but bring some short term pain for long term economic stability and growth.
Anwar is probably the best Malaysian PM to date and all his policies are pretty solid. He has alot of shit from previous Najib etc to clean up.
But voter are mostly shortsighted n unable to think long term.

He step on a few big shots like Madhiddin, Madhater and children, Diam and wifey, Ah Jib and wifey, etc. and now before the Courts. They of course want to remove him so that they will not be tried in Court.
