One of the big questions to emerge from China’s President Xi Jinping’s visit to Moscow this week is the degree to which it could help Russia both on the battlefield, and off it — and what price it could extract for doing so.

For many, the Arab world is all about wars, Islamic extremiss and death....
The good news is this need not continue...Things in the ME looks better than ever after the Chinese effort to drive Saudi-Iran peace détente...
Syria will benefit from this...CNA, CNN nor BBC didn't report this good news !

Saudi Arabia and Syria are in talks over a resumption of consular services between the two countries, according to Saudi state television, an indication of a possible restoration of ties between the two countries. Saudi Arabia, which backed the Syrian opposition in the country’s war, closed its embassy in Damascus and expelled the Syrian ambassador in 2012.

Taiwan’s former leader Ma begins China visit
Ma Ying-jeou Office...Former Taiwan President Ma center, waves as he arrivers with his delegation at the Pudong airport in Shanghai, China. Ma departed for a tour of China on Monday, in what he called an attempt to reduce tensions a day after Taiwan lost one of its few remaining diplomatic partners to China.

TAOYUAN, Taiwan (AP) — Former Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou departed for a tour of China on Monday, in what he called an attempt to reduce tensions a day after Taiwan lost one of its few remaining diplomatic partners to China.

The ex-president is visiting in a private capacity, bringing a delegation of academics and college students for exchanges, as well as members of his family, but the trip is loaded with political meaning.

Ma’s policies brought Taiwan and Beijing to their closest relationship ever, but his exit from office was overshadowed by massive protests against a trade deal with the mainland and his successor has focused on bolstering ties with the U.S. and defending the autonomy of the democratically governed island that China claims as part of its own.

CIA Is LIVID Over Saudi-Iran Peace Deal!

When CIA Director William Burns found out that longtime U.S. ally Saudi Arabia was negotiating peace deals with traditional regional rivals like Syria and Iran, he flew directly to Riyadh to express his displeasure. Like a child left behind while everyone else goes out for ice cream, Burns whined to the Saudi leaders that the U.S. felt blindsided by these deals. And it's easy to see why -- peace is not nearly as good for business when you're in the business of making war (which the United States is)
