Iran state-run media stated that its Revolutionary Guards had seized the MSC Aries ship, saying it was "linked to Israel" and it was being transferred to Iran's territorial waters.

Actually food and other supplies to Israel is by shipping correct? Choke that route will bring Israel to their knees no food IDF how to fight? Got ammo no energy to fight.

The US will only go through proxy again and passing of information. Direct confrontation will mean their ships and very nearby bases will be affected. Iran's air defence system is very strong.
