Ppl scared wanna support local banks by all means. I prefer foreign banks give more interest. Local banks good for ATM and apply ssb t-bill only

If open FD in UOB online, is it must transfer fund to one own uob saving account then transfer to the FD acct?

I don't have UOB app...but this should be the case.
You must have the funds first in your savings account to create the FD.

I want to make sure the steps before I transfer fund to my uob saving acct. Once transfer in still consider as fresh fund?

I just open UOB FD but inside I check all board rates and only can place Mon-Fri 0930 - 1900 ?

All bank savings are insured up to $75K.

It would be proper to be informed before dishing out "advice".  Rolleyes
