As of November 13, 2024, Thailand has seen nearly 30 million tourist arrivals, with the number of arrivals increasing by 4.87% over the previous week. The top five nationalities of tourists arriving in Thailand this week were: Chinese (103,150), Malaysian (89,463), Indian (51,478), Russian (47,493), and South Korean (34,763).
Thailand's tourism industry was severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, but has since shown signs of recovery. In 2022, Thailand saw a 9.37 million increase in tourists, and in 2023, the number of tourist arrivals increased to 28.15 million.
