It usually happens when the water pressure's high or if there's some leftover water in the line. Just give it a quick wipe if it bothers you, but it shouldn’t be a big deal!

If that thing keeps dripping non stop after used, then it is fucked. If it drips just a while (may be a couple of minutes), that means there is some remnants of water still inside the host after you washed you CB and it is just draining away.

You’re right. It’s safer to install a mini valve to this device in case of leakage
