Whatever the govt n authoriry does is to Rigid and Textbook...not sure what identity they can bring out singapore as...Shopping Belt for one we cannot fight with the atmosphere of Bangkok..the chaotic and a little messy and streets food and price..
If we want to fight with Newyork we also cannot...

I think Orchard had no bright future

Orchard Rd no matter what, still have locals doing beside tourists but MOST just window shopping , if want to eat depend your budget than the usual Movie,
