It has been happening for so long especially to older professionals whose livelihood is affected ....but this don't seem to matter.

Singapore is the only country in the world that needs to pass new laws to protect citizens from foreigners in job competitions.

PM Lee is stepping down and I hope he does not expect MP Lawrence to clean the puddle of mud.
At least do what they are good at, by setting up a 30 People Committee to look at their bad judgement and erroneous decision and work from 2000 onwards on each job lost to FTs and PRs.
