You have Sabah, Sarawak, Singapore and Malaya merging to form the Federation. There is no reason why it should be called Sabahsia, Sarawaksia, Singaporesia or Malaysia....or Chinesesia or Indiansia.

But we succeeded to live in peace in a country with a race-neutral name that's Singaporean Singapore. 

Because as long as you insert the race of one particular group in the country's name, you are doing something which all advertising companies know and do to sell a product.
