Think most will be affected one way or another since the sense of global recession are everywhere, so most people in the world are expected to cut down on their spending.

But those non-GLC businesses here that moi had dealing with are mainly cutting back on new hiring and freezing pay raise\bonus nia and will focus more on cost cutting first, unless their business are very dependence on AT market else most not really resort to mass retrenchment yet.

There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.

But now, they'll only do it for money.

I think fed low rates and money printing since 2008 helped pap expand the economy at a rapid pace.

Hope to see more young adults or fresh grads

being retrenched in the next 6 mths

so that more FTs can replace them to be Future PRs

"Thank you, PAP"

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 87 PAP Ministers?

Google has contract staff so it is easy to let them go without retrenchment.
