According to the traffic data of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) between 19-26 September, Istanbul Airport became the busiest airport in Europe with 1,286 flights.

Istanbul Airport was followed by Amsterdam Schiphol with 1,272 flights and Paris CDG Airports with 1,236 flights. Turkish Airlines (THY), on the other hand, ranked 3rd among the airlines with the highest number of flights, with 1,376 flights.
