This is probably a plan to have Iswaran quietly "escape" so he won't be an embarrassment to the MIW with the GE looming. If he is never convicted, the Pappies may declare that his guilt was never proven in a court of law. Remember the case of Czech footballer Michal Vana who slipped out of SG after being charged with match-fixing when he represented S'pore in the Malaysian League and Cup competitions in the 1990s?

Iswaran will only be found too obese to fly if he can't fit through the plane's doors or the aircraft can't take off with him onboard. He may reduce weight immediately if he offloads all those gold bars in his luggage.

Iswaran has been softened by riches all these years, so he will not survive in prison. Mark my words, Iswaran will run when he has the opportunity and the MIW will make a 1/2 hearted attempt to bring him to justice.

Is Iswaran really sick? He is not even a Sikh. If found to be untrue, then it would be embarrasingh for the MIW.

Perhaps Iswaran has the stutter, so he will reason with the judge that he won't be able to complete his sentence. LOL!

Remember the master plan to transform an Indian woman into a Malay President with one flip of the prata? The MIW will have the world believing that Iswaran is innocent until proven guilty, and if he disappears while overseas, he will remain innocent until he is apprehended one fine day, which may never come.

Is kind of strange. Many politicians leaders who are charged for corruptions always claimed they are sick. Like Najib, Daim and Thaksin, just to name a few. Why always the same pattern? Is it an excuse trying to escape prosecutions?

Perhaps Iswaran will claim to have a stutter so he won't be able to complete his (jail) sentence.

Phey was charged with criminal breach of trust back in 1979. I recall that he jumped bail, and fled the country because his passport was not surrendered since the authorities felt there was no evidence he was a flight risk. Phey apparently left S'pore for KL by train, before escaping to Thailand where he disappeared. It wasn't until 2015 that Phey surrendered at the S'pore Embassy in Bangkok.

Before any charges and investigations were been brought and made known, he was in good shape, bright smiling face and so chubby looking. Why suddenly becomes weak and sick? This scenario also have to be investigated as well. Not sure was it malingering or not.

As you pointed out, Iswaran's so-called deterioration in health appears highly suspicious. The ease in which the authorities in SG granted his extension to stay in Australia also reeks of collusion. He may never return to face the music here, so the MIW may claim that their Minister was never convicted of the crimes he was accused of. How convenient indeed!

The answer is very simple from papayas. And that is, as long as it is not proven in court yet, it is not considered guilty yet. So, he can stay in aust as long as he like, and other things can forget abt it. Case closed.

Iswaran was fit enough to be discharged from hospital after he was allowed to extend his stay in Australia. This is embarrasingh indeed
