national pledge said "base on justice and EQUALITY"

isn't this inequality ?

So many CEO have failed, what makes 500m president head and shoulder above the our middle income family?

billionaires who failed -

1. Masayoshi Son
Total fortune at its peak: $78 billion to 13B

2. Yasumitsu Shigeta
Total fortune at its peak: $42 billion to 3B

3. Eike Batista
Total fortune at its peak: $34.5 billion to zero

4. Sean Quinn
Total fortune at its peak: $6 billion to zero

5. Allen Stanford

Vikram Pandit, Citigroup's India-born chief is proclaimed to be one of the worst-ever CEOs in all time history of the corporate industry. He is not solely responsible for the downturn of the company, but can be termed as the bad commander who was ill equipped to save his firm. The time he joined the firm, it was already on track to report write-downs and increased credit costs of $20 billion. In 2009, he testified to the Congress that he had declared to his board of directors to make his salary $1 per year with no bonus until the firm return to profitability.

Carly Fiorina served as the CEO of Hewelett-Packard from 1999 to 2005 and within a year of her joining the company, she also became the chairman of the board. She is termed to have paid herself a handsome amount of bonuses and perks while laying off thousands of employees to cut costs. She was ousted in 2005. Her resume consists of more than 30,000 firings and a decline of 50 percent of the stock of the company. Her suggestion to the employees to take voluntary pay cuts and still outsourcing thousands of jobs overseas implemented huge layoffs.

The CEO of Lehman Brothers during the period 1994 to 2008, Dick Fuld is overseen as one of the reasons for the fall of the company. His reckless risk taking contributed towards the growth of the company, but his denial to acknowledge that the company was in trouble led towards the downfall of the company. He also did not acknowledge the necessary steps required to save the company. This led the company to file for bankruptcy for an outstanding amount of $613 billion. As the CEO of the company, he ignored the warnings from experts on several issues and refused to talk to buyers. Fuld joined Lehman Brothers in 1969 after giving up his career as an U.S. Air Force pilot. The company's fortune grew under his leadership.

The Chairman and CEO of General Motors from 1981 to 1990, Roger Smith joined the company when it was reeling from its first annual loss since 1920s. Under his leadership, the company saw a decline in its market share from 46 percent to 35 percent. The company badly needed a change in its strategies for fast growth but was unable to do so due to the disaster under Smith. He was in news for sharp criticism for his closing several auto plants in Flint and Michigan resulting in over 30,000 employees losing their jobs.
His misjudgment of the way the telecom industry was going forced a disastrous merger of the company with computer company NCR Corp making it the worst business deals of all times. He also allowed AT&T to droop under his lack of strategic direction. The company encountered a loss of more than $12 billion in few months in 1997. He has received stock options that increased his pay from $6.7 million to $16 million soon after he enforced terminations.

The $500m figure is probably just a way to give priority to govt preferred candidates. If this number is not enough to disqualify people like GG this time, it can be raised to $1bil or 5bil in the future.
