I took a grab from airport to hotel, the Grab driver told me he doesn’t have change for 500k note I passed to him.

Then I suggested he shall get change at shops or the hotel, he walked to the hotel reception, he spoke to the counter in Vietnamese, which I had no idea what he said, after the hotel staff gave him the change, he passed me 10k instead of 100k and quickly left. By the time I realize the change was incorrect, he already disappeared..

I tried to talk to him on WhatsApp, no reply, I asked hotel staff called him on mobile, nobody answered.

Unhappy with his service I contacted Grab service centre complaining about the incident.

2 days later I received the reply from Grab, it apologised for what happened. I was told the driver is now removed from Grab, Grab would compensate me with two 50k vouchers.

Generally OK, after that incident, I hired a dozen of Grab for short rides, no problem at all.
