You can retire any time you want. They only make it easier for company to continue to employ you if you still want to work.

this retirement age figure is to protect you. your boss cannot fire you because you are old, as long as you are below the figure.
but it doesn't mean that you must work until the retirement age figure.
if you can stop work earlier and enjoy life, why not?
