Firstly, how can anyone not know that you need to have a passport with you when crossing a border?
Secondly, the $3000 was a fine, not a demand for a bribe. But in the end she bribed them.
Thirdly, will Singapore take action against her or her friend ? Singaporeans can drive Malaysian registered car here meh?

If you give them $3000, they will also pocket the money themselves. Don't think that they are so good to report back to the police station that these are money collected from fine.

Johor police are opportunists. If they caught Singaporeans any wrong doings, they wil want to squeeze money from Singaporeans.

Too bad, Datuk Seri Tiong minister didn't come to the SGrean "rescue" at JB checkpoint like he did at KLIA.
