Than when go ask they will say due to Rental high so pass the cost to consumers....

Not just food, even come Beers, cigarettes Some Westerners folks claim is expensive in SG than in their own countries.

I just see ST , pubs claim no much business despite no need wear masks etc. I feel partly due to beer price , foods price.

Ang mo now also see where cheaper will go where. Cannot Still think Westerners , Tourists will willing to spend. They will see where cheap will go where and spend there.

Next year and the year after next, prices will be even more ridiculous because of the GST increase.

Restaurant prices in Austria confirm more expensive than in Sg. I think this Austrian is comparing SG prices with Thailand or Indonesia. Some clueless amgmos always think SG is in SE Asia and so we should also be cheap.

If Australians can come here and work to draw Australian salary, then their comparison is twarted. Locals like us earn much lower salary than them here in Singapore for the same job.

Better dont let tourists know we have hawker centers...else push up hawker price and less seats eat during meal time.
