Not surprising.
Do you know USA already in debate on this? Using AI, Robots to replace human at work. One side claim implement Robot Taxes on companies using it to replace human labour etc.

Microsoft do currently using AI to do programming with human doing or decode etc.

But all these I feel still a bit long way to go but also hard to say as you can see on news even SG , SPF using robots do patrol around.

This is nothing new. Japan did it first but it never really took off. I think overtook by the Chinese.

One thing for sure, you need a " team of Human behind monitor these Robots, AI system " so call maintenance and re program tell them what to do , re design "

thus in the end , still need to get Human BUT just so call " the best of the best talents aka engineer , programmer come to maintenance these Robots/AI "

I believe the US and Japan can do what the Chinese are doing (at least technologically they're capable) but they just couldn't carry it out on a massive scale. I suspect they're counting their cents so they're reluctant to put in a huge outlay for fear of offending their shareholders and workers.

Can do but cannot do!

In Assmerica and Japan, super rich capitalists control everything for their own interests.

In China, capitalists have to work with the government for the nation and the people.

Horse Cloud tried to take over to control the government and ended up having shit on his face!  Laughing

That is what many were worried when assembly lines and other automated mass production facilities were "invented"!

But, well,..... we have survived that for decades!

You don't forget The German. If you ask me which country produce the Best engineer, I still will say the German.
Nope, Shareholders don't care what is " welfare on workers etc " Shareholders Only concern the company able to profit a lot or not. Means the CEO try all means to get the company earn profits, even " so call do bad things or nasty ways etc "

I mentioned shareholders because they usually don't like companies to spend too much.
