His own citizens can see: why he purposely sug BWC across the ocean while offending his immediate neighbours just next door. If you want to play both sides, like Singapore, it is just common sense to be more discreet. And don’t get your own people lives and children involved.
Furthermore, the Pacific War will be a proxy war, and his people are not happy that this fool eagerly and willingly let his own country soil and population as cannon fodder…
