The hotel thing I encountered something similar before in Mumbai where I extended my business trip. I booked and prepaid but when I arrived the hotel claimed they had no such booking and claimed they are full. Then I have to pay extra to stay in a room that someone had just checked out and had not been cleaned. The OYO hotel chain are a bunch of scums.

I once had a CECA IT staff at my company who seemed clueless how to resolve my laptop issue. He spent more than an hour in my room, and the only thing he did was let a loud fart slip out. It was then that I asked if he used to work for Air India.
