What risk?

Then tax the rich when they leave Singapore, lor. This way, no risk, right?

They are no longer holding PR/ EP status, so why OVER- worry for nothing?

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

There is 2 other policies that are at fault.
1) stop at 2 children, now we have shortage of babies
2) EP should not be 'selected" ....

Of course not easy but very difficult because his wealth will be TAXED. Even if it is easy, it will become very difficult by changing laws or even constitution ..... Rolleyes

SG was collecting estate duty was many years successfully before the govt removed it. Raising property tax for non-owner occupier property is another way. What's not easy about these methods? It's a matter of whether you want to do it.

Not easy doesnt mean not possible.
The govt must determine to do it.
Form a task force committee to do tax revamp.

Learn it from Emperor 雍正.
Time for tax revamp.
Dont let the greed shirk from their duty and responsiblility.
This will also increase birth rate when tax revamp is carried out properly.

Taxing the rich is equal to taxing himself. For selfish reason, it's no go.
