I think it is appropriate for the Leader of the Opposition to lodge a formal complaint to the Privileges Committee about the deplorable conduct of the Speaker. His words clearly showed his contempt for the opposition. Do all army generals speak in that manner?

It is clear that the Leader of the House will not lodge the complaint because she belongs to the same party. Similarly PM Lee has his own problems and will not take the matter up.

There is no need to be nice to the PAP as they will never reciprocate. Lodge the complaint. The public esp the one who leaked the offensive words have already done more than they can to assist the WP.

Even since LTK time, WP has been the gentlemen la… like there was an incident where a pap mp ridiculed LTK’s hearing ability… He also gentlemanly accepted the apology and that’s it.
