Likely another subdued 2022 CNY...
#1

Given the impending exponential Covid 19 cases on our shore,  it is very likely the coming CNY will be a subdued celebration again.

House visits probably would be limited to 5 or less paxs again.

Don't buy so much snacks and goodies. There won't be many visitors. Save your cash and splurge for next year 2023 !!

If I am selling CNY snacks,  I will quickly sell all my stocks at lower prices with lesser profits now.

Given the grim Covid scenario, there will likely be a drop in demand for CNY goodies.
It happened last year . Many in the trade got stuck with unsold snacks.

History will repeat itself again this year.

No need. Buy 1 get 1 free or 20% discount now will surely help to clear stocks.

Many greedy entrepreneurs will wait till CNY eve to fire sale, by then it will be too late.
Remember there won't be a CNY bazaar at Chinatown this year.
