One observation, since COVID started, landed property prices had gone up quite a bit, maybe due to work from home people need more space?

Now instead of $500 HDB flats u get $m flats which majority cant afford is better?

How to meet aspirations of the people in terms of wealth growth if the island kept close to itself?
Not many countries and economies can go on the innovation track and still do well. German and Japan did that but over time it seems economies of scale and low cost competition still wins in the short run... Govt are short term focused.
