Hi! I'm Emerson and I've been a self-taught fingerstyle guitarist for 14 years.


I may not have the practical and theory certification, but I've learned through countless videos and live performances to play fingerstyle guitar in a versatile and dynamic way. I've joined music competitions such as the Cristofori Sungha Jung guitar competition, where I've made it to the finals. My Instagram is @emerson.gideon, and I put some of my guitar work there. I also play in an acoustic band Pasturique, and also in the church band. This gives me the knowledge to teach guitar in a band setting or an acoustic setting. My limitation is that I'm unfamiliar with the grading system or syllabus.
