At this rate, PH will win the popular vote, but not the majority of seats. Unless it pulls in GPS.

ALL THE OTHER candidates in Kepong lost their deposits.

Meanwhile most of Mahathir party, GTA’s, candidates are expected to lose their deposit, including Mahathir

Biggest upset for Pakatan Harapan as Anwar’s daughter projected to lose her seat

In a potential upset, PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar may be heading toward defeat in Permatang Pauh.
According to unofficial counts, the incumbent is trailing PN's Muhammad Fawwaz Mat Jan by about 6,000 votes.
Permatang Pauh is largely seen as the stronghold of Pakatan Harapan chairperson Anwar Ibrahim's family.
Anwar was first elected there in 1982 and held the seat for five terms until his imprisonment in 1998.
His wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, then won the seat from 1999 to 2008, after which Anwar returned as MP of Permatang Pauh in a by-election.
Wan Azizah was MP there again in 2015 when Anwar was sent to jail for the second time, and passed the baton to Nurul Izzah in 2018.

It’s official
Mahathir lost his seat, and lost his deposit

In a massive upset, GTA chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad has lost his deposit in Langkawi, a constituency considered his stronghold.
The seat was won by PN's Mohd Suhaimi Abdullah by 13,518, the Election Commission says.
BN came in second while Pakatan Harapan's candidate, who came in third, also lost his deposit.
The former prime minister held the constituency since 2018.
However, Langkawi was his pet project when he was prime minister, heavily investing in the island and turning it into an international tourism destination.

The problem with a coalition govt unlike Spore single party rule is for any new policies will have a lot of objections and cannot proceed even if the proposed policy is good for ppl. Oppose for opposing is norm in coalition govt and we see that in many countries.

That is also why ppl say Spore is boring whereas theirs is exciting and juicy and full of drama. Hopefully this will not be the case and they get their MYR stronger but means my SGD is weaker haha.

GPS is the kingmaker. No feasible permutation for a coalition is possible without GPS.

DAP + PAS(PN): no go
DAP/PKR + Unmno: no go
