In comparison, a serving of fishball noodles in Singapore costs around S$3 (RM10).

More like $3.5. Fishball noodles priced at $3 is not so easy to find in Singapore nowadays.

I went Penang just before COVID and recently. CKT rose from RM5 to RM8. Their inflation is worse than ours, but still much cheaper than SG of course.
