While Singapore continues to be arsed fugged by CECAland and the thousands of CECAs stealing white collar jobs from Sinkies.
Nothing new - CECA was sold on the assumptiong that India can be the next China for SG in terms of economy.
So far what we see is never-ending stream by bad ideas and lousy returns for SG and SGreans.
In comparison with China, can see for far better return and benefits ...+ the FACT antii-Chinese Bolehland's 2 top Top Trade Partners are from Chinese-majority countries.

Everyone knows MY had long track records of anti-Chinese and hostility towards the PRC.
With those fact, when u are a tiny, weak and poor young country born out of violent "racial issue"....would you wanna stir more trouble ? And if Bolehland had been "SMART", Chinese M'sian wouldn't be migrating a mass to other countries, including SG....
This Thread is just highlighting a simple FACT about Bolehland situation today in a larger context...the World has moved on....

Languages should NEVER be an issue nor an excuse to divide...It should be a medium of building understanding and interactions.
That is why our core policy is about multilingualism since 1965..which Bilingual education is built on.
So learning more languages is beneficial to everyone.
That was why LKY mastered Bahasa Melayu (better than some of the Malays)....but still didn't prevented SG from being kicked out of M'sia.
Before 9 Aug 1965, there was a young English-educated Chinese speaking in near-perfect Malay in KL...that still didn't work for SG-MY union.
This shows if someone wants to hate you for who you are, speaking their language often will not help....
Just ask how English-speaking Asians, Africans and Arabs are treated in America...

Dr M very very quiet about his ex DPM China visit.
Anwar described his maiden official visit to China as an achievement that brought about great benefits to the country and the people of Malaysia.
Anwar said the focus given by the Chinese government and leaders as well as the response from Chinese business and industry figures to his visit reflected the close relationship enjoyed between the two countries.
“The hospitality received and focus given were great and extraordinary. I consider this a very positive development. This visit is of great benefit to Malaysians,” he told Malaysian media...

Ish actually the hardwork of Jib kor lah during his run as PM. He helm boleh land to become a very CCP-friendly nation and make their economy becoming very reliance on CCP, especially in properties and tourism.
Heng for CCP, it seem Anwar ish following Jib kor footstep so don't think much will be changed, just don't know whether CCP still got the RMB to spend on boleh land or not like during jib kor time.
Same can be said for our own red dot too, though our higher mortals maybe investing more on CCP than the other way round.
There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.
But now, they'll only do it for money.
