Macron organizes a summit in Versailles to decide on a "new economic model"for the EU
#1

Addressing the nation, Emmanuel Macron indicated that the war in Ukraine triggered by Russia will "inevitably" have consequences on the economy in France and the government will prepare "a resilience plan" to deal with it.

The European Commission has also indicated that it could extend the suspension of its budgetary austerity rules in 2023 if this is made necessary by the impact of the war in Ukraine on the EU economy.

Emmanuel Macron also announced an informal European summit to be held on March 10 and 11 in Versailles during which he "will have to decide" on "the new economic model" of the EU.

Price increase

Like the prices at the pump which continue to climb, the skyrocketing prices of cereals, in particular wheat, but also those of various metals such as aluminum, are increasing the cost of living and eroding the power buying from the French.

Its about time that someone put his feet down against Nato.

And boy, did anyone think it would be Macron.

Does Macron want to start a European Force to replace Nato, ie, kick US out of Europe? How daring
