If a SIA flight stewardess can be charged for shoplifting 6 items, then why can't ex-Minister Iswaran be charged for dishonestly receiving freebies from Ong Beng Seng? Yet there are several imbeciles calling for Iswaran's acquittal on the grounds that these gifts were small in value in comparison with his mega salary.  LOL!

Tourists who come to S'pore should be forgiven for shoplifting since everything here is so damn expensive. I bought a Superdry T-shirt in London for 20 pounds (S$34) last month, but saw that same item selling for S$79 at Vivo City!
