PT Kereta Api Indonesia China (KCIC) through the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Train (KCJB) contractor begins testing for the Electric Multiple Units (EMU) or the electrically powered single-unit railcars. The previous trial was conducted with a Comprehensive Inspection Train (CIT), which showed the train at an operating speed of 350 kilometers/hour.
“We continue to do our best to prepare the operation of Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train with the stakeholders,” Emir Monti, KCIC Manager of Corporate Communication said in a written statement on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

“Please wait for the official information from KCIC for the people who wants to try this train since we are still discussing the ticketing procedures and schemes,” Emir added.
