If my Thai language is good I will go there too partly one of my relative is a Chinese Thai, he have landed house back in Bangkok which is his home. Thus no problem for me stay there long.

no need to speak Thai, you can speak English and Teochew.

Nah, always Best to speak their local language first language first better. At least they see you like Locals more easy to mix around lastly also not scare been cheated, no need afraid get cheat easily as least you know their language not just know how to speak also knows how to read Thai and write even better.
