Because Singapore signed FTA with so many countries we have to let GMO (genetically modified) foods into Singapore. Malaysia hasalreafy require labelling of  GMO...but Singapore govt still refuses and there is wide ranging effects from infertility to allergies.

Without proper regulation by Singapore govt it becomes hard to avoid GMO as is hidden in our foods. One alternative is to eat organic but it is much one expensive than non GMO. Why govt refuses to allow us to identify GMO-free food when other countries have mandatory labels?
