嫌命长， they were cases whereby the victim fell from A frame ladder, hit the head on the floor and died on the spot after climbing on top of the ladder to do repair work in Sg.

Three people holding the ladder maybe quite safe (I think) he just want to do some leaking repair ....?

Even if you have 3 people below holding the ladder, the person at the top may lose his balance and topple. It's been advised not stand at the top or second rung from the top.
