Many Singaporean retail brands use OEMs — but what does that actually mean? Is there a point in buying something from a company when it doesn't actually make the product?

One example is Prism.
They buy Chjna products put their brand on it then use influencers to promote. Mark up the price by 200% and sell to Singaporeans.

You can also make your own brand by finding OEM maker. 
For example, a 55“ TV made by OEM maker probably cost less than $100

i always buy Japanese brands.............if too expensive, then Korean brands.............

Sinkies brands i always avoid............price is not low and quality is so-so...........
