If it is read correctly,  the news said "PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. must first approve any public announcements of resupply missions to Filipino troops stationed at the BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin (Second Thomas) Shoal, an official of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Saturday.  The announcement might be sensitive in nature. It did not say the resupply mission must get approval as it might have the approval obtained in the first instance;  otherwise,  the soldiers and the inhabitants on the islands will be starved to death.

The resupply was already agreed by the previous President.

Only Marcos refused to acknowledge the agreement.

Now Marcos is just going back to the earlier agreement.

He needs to acknowledge/approve before he denies again.
