Mexico: The United States 'would not be what it is' without Mexican migrants
#1

“Let it be heard loud and clear: Mexicans there support the economy of the United States, in the fields, in services, everywhere. The United States would not be what it is if it were not for the working people (of Mexico) who go there to help ,” said the president during an event in Oaxaca.

The mass deportations promised by Trump are a cause for concern in the country because Mexicans make up nearly half of the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States and their remittances represent almost 4% of Mexico's gross domestic product (GDP), which in 2024 is expected to receive an estimated record of 65 billion dollars.
