Israel bombed Iranian embassy in Syria.
likely Iran gave go ahead to Hamas for Oct attack.
there will be war because both sides are pushing the other towards war. After Israel attacks in Gaza, Iran gain some moral high ground.
Israel has been wanting to attack Iran to cripple it's nuclear facilities and to weaken Iran.
Iran's has been close to Russia and China ..it has build up some new capabilities in the last few years. it enters a war it is not necessary for an outright win. when they fought Iraq it was 10yrs attrition war. The purpose is not so much to win but use the war to galvanise the people towards a common enemy. Israel won't be able to invade Iran and will end up in endless tit for tat that drags on for ages. Such a situation benefits the rulers in Iran who have been facing unrest among the population against it's rule. it will refocus it's people on an endless war with a long time enemy.
I believe it was all planned before the Oct 2023 Hamas attacks. It is going to plan because they knew Israeli right wing govt cannot resist a brutal assault on Gaza which helps Iran gain moral high ground.
Now Israel attack on its embassy, opens more avenues to expand the war..

the biggest danger for Israel is it's over confidence of it's military capabilities.
if anything the Ukraine war teach us the response of enemy can be multi faceted and complex...you can never say you are "ready".
the israelis are entering this with the wrong expectations and will play into the Iran's hand.

It is highly likely that a terrorist group or Arab country was behind this to force Iran into war with Israel. Do you really believe that Israel wants to antagonise Iran when it already has its hands full fighting on several fronts at the moment?
