Instead of addressing problems highlighted by Leong in EIP (ethnic integration plam) Shammuggan chose to make personal accusations against Leong calling him racist.

But Leong was asking the govt to consider compensating minorities who were disadvantaged by EIP.

What he was doing was opposite of being racist. He was asking govt to be fair to other races.

Physical assault on 2 girls, shouting vulgarities and racial slurs in a shopping mall all captured on video. Yet she was not even charged.  Ah beng would have been fined and probably squatting behind bars.  Not a word was mentioned by the same media that sensationalised on a woman whose arm was lightly scratched in a argument over mask wearing as racism and the man was charged??
