I would say 8% market share of all mobile phones in 2023 is quite successful considering that foldable phones are rather niche. And that's when Samsung was leading in the foldable phones market.
2024 could see a bigger share with Huawei surpassing Samsung in the first quarter and more people considering one as stated in the article below.

Foldables are quite bulky and heavy, and the crease line will gradually becum obvious and quite ugly
