Drink hot drinks don't drink iced drinks lor. Their hot drinks quite cheap compared to other coffeeshops.

Rent high? Just charge more for the kopi. Rent goes higher still? Increase the kopi price further.
In the end the winner is the landlord. Thr masses pay more for coffee. The coffee seller does not actually earns more by charging more because the money goes to the landlord.
This is one imperfection of capitalism.

You seem not aware that our economy and in particular domestic market is partially sustained by 2.5 million foreigners who make up 40% of our population.
Its not as if only the 3.5 m of us sinkies are spending and the 2.5 m foreigners don't.
