If she is reading this forum, she can try this approach. Intermittent fasting. Only eat 8hours and fast for the remaining 16hours.
If she can't do fasting then she can try this alternative approach. Cut all forms of carbohydrates from her diet. In place of the carb she will consume more green vegetables, no potatoes or anything starchy since she doesn't do much physical exercises.
Both approaches will take at least 3months to see any results, fats accumulated in layers and the body burns away the fat from inside out, so she has to be very patient.
