They were ecompeting against each other for teh establishment vote.
But TKL was appealing to the people.
TKL has a good chance if not the best chance.

Yes, agreed. Probably Ho Ching cajoled NKS out of retirement, so she had no choice but to put in a good word for him. But in doing so, she is weakening Tharman's position. Or maybe she never really liked the tambi afterall

Of course he believes he did well. He have two henchmen left and right of him. Already feeling like a Big Boss. Bao jiat. Highest office is his for the taking. Feeling great.

Talk and walk around less is better. Those walkabouts put candidates in the limelight for the wrong reasons.
